Bad Joan goes to LACMA

Bad Joan headed to LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) to check out the Tim Burton exhibit.  If you're in Los Angeles you should definitely check out the exhibit, BUT the great thing about LACMA is that you can enjoy some amazing art for free!

Right out front is the Urban Light installation by Chris Burden which is made up of 202 cast iron antique street lamps; all of which once lit the streets of Los Angeles...

And right beside the Urban Lights is the B. Gerald Cantor Sculpture Garden filled with some very cool bronze statues...

... and it is also just a nice place to relax on a beautiful Los Angeles day...

Tent Tank by Otis and Maclain -Retail $105 / Bad Joan $32

I saw that exhibit when it was in NYC and it totally blew my mind - I love it! And I love your tiered skirt, it's so pretty and oddly perfect for a Burton exhibit!

I do love LACMA!! Thank you for posting about such a great, HIGHLY-underrated museum in LA, especially if you enjoy modern/contemporary art as well. Thank you for the post, even if it made me homesick! : (
