get that look: RUFFLE COLLAR

Ruffles are flirty and fun but more importantly they add attention to, and accentuate, an area.  For example ruffles along the chest add volume and create the illusion of a bigger bust line!  In other words, ruffles can be used to draw attention.  A big grouping of layers can add volume while one simple ruffle trim can be used for framing an area, like your face.  A simple ruffle collar will subtly frame and soften your face.

Zoe Saldana looks like an angel in her white dress with simple ruffle trim.  There is a small ruffle along the collar and a wide ruffle along the bottom edge of her dress.  She is framed in billowy ruffles and it looks heavenly!  You can get a similar look right now on Badjoan.com with the Anjou Dress by Postella.  This dress features ruffle trim along the collar and bottom edge, a halter neck, open back and a sash that crosses in the front and ties in the back.  It is an easy dress to wear all summer with flats or play up with heels!
