ROLLING RUFFLES:
The biggest trend that we spotted on the red carpet was ruffles! From big to small, a lot to a little and many different placements. Ruffles are such a fun and feminine detail and can add glamour to any outfit. Since most of us don't have an occassion for an evening gown it's a good thing that designers are interpreting ruffles into every day clothing, and we've got a lot of it on Badjoan.com!
Jenny Han has several ruffled dresses available right now. The Ruffle Trim Dress is lightweight with adjustable spaghetti straps, great for a casual Sunday or a spring wedding. The Short Sleeve Ruffle Front Dress has a pleated collar, a lot of ruffle detail at the chest and buttons down the front. This dress is great for work, casual with flats or dressed up with tights and heels. The Strapless Ruffle Trim Dress has a satin-like feel and is so comfortable and flattering.
We also have a couple of great ruffled tops including the Short Sleeve Ruffle Front Blouse and the Sleeveless Ruffle Detail Blouse. Both can be worn with everything from jeans to a skirt to pants to shorts!
SEEING RED:
Full length red was another big trend. This color is rich, stunning and definitely makes a statement. While you are probably not getting in a red gown any time soon there are other ways to wear this dramatic color.
For a head to toe red look try the Farron Elizabeth Knot Jumper. This jumpsuit is so soft, comfortable and flattering. It is great with sandals for a relaxing weekend day or it looks amazing dressed up with heels and a chunky necklace! If you don't want to quite go all the way to the toes but still want to make an impact the Purp7e Cherry Blossom Cardigan is definitely the way to go! This cardigan is so comfortable and easy to throw on. It comes with a belt so you can tie it at the waist or it looks great open.
HINT OF LACE:
A subtle trend that we spotted is the "hint of lace" look. Too much lace can be viewed as trashy but just a touch of lace is so sexy and elegant.
The Jenny Han Lace Trim Tank pulls this look off perfectly. This is a simple black tank with just a small amount of lace detail around the top. A wardrobe staple that can easily be paired with jeans, dressed up or worn under a suit as a camisole.
