This Valentine's Day, a couple friends of mine threw a sweet and simple backyard gathering. It was good friends, good food, and lots of love. The decor was so lovely that I couldn't resist taking a few snapshots and sharing them...

Strawberry Shortcake

It was recently my bday... I won't tell you which one... BUT I will tell you that I had so many fun mini celebrations with great friends! One of my favorites was dining al fresco with my friend Sarah in her backyard. Sarah is an amazing cook and totally gluten-free, so it was healthy and delicious!

Check out how cute she set up her backyard...

AND she made me an amazing, gluten-free strawberry shortcake (biscuit style) which I ate so much of that I got a stomach ache...

BUT the stomach ache didn't stop me from eating the leftovers for breakfast the next day...
