how to: BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE DRAPE TUNIC

Some of the best styles are not so straight forward.  For example the Beautiful People Drape Tunic.  This style is soooo flattering and unique but at first glance it can be confusing as to how to actually wear it!  So we've done a little demonstration so that you can know just what you're dealing with...

First, it's important to note that this style has a piece of fabric on the inside that connects the armholes together on the inside of the garment.  It sounds confusing but it is acutally what makes this garment so cool because you can rest that piece of fabric either on your stomach or your back and change the drape and look of this piece!

FRONT DRAPE:

BACK DRAPE:

As you can see if you lay the middle piece on your stomach you get a loose, billowy effect in the front of the garment whereas if you lay the piece on your back you get a more shapely look in front and a more billowy look in back.  Both ways are flattering and interesting, it all depends on you and your body type!

Of course we recommend layering this piece as it is very open on the sides.  Beautiful People offers some amazing, soft and lightweight fitted tanks that are perfect for layering.  The Basic Tank and the Ribbed Racerback Tank are both offered in a dark grey which is a perfect compliement to the heather grey of the Drape Tunic.

And for a complete look we love the Lisa K Silver Leaf Necklace.  It is a subtle finish to go with the other grey tones of this outfit!

All of the styles above are currently available on Badjoan.com!  Are there other styles on Badjoan.com that you would like to see more in depth pictures of or find out how to wear it or what to wear it with?  Let us know!  Email us at info@badjoan.com and we will do our best to accomodate your request.
