Dinner with friends...

I went out the other night with some of my best girlfriends to celebrate our friend Joanne's birthday.  We went to a great local LA spot, Laurel Hardware.  The food and drinks were fantastic.  And the company was even better!

It was an unexpected, last minute plan, and it turned out to be such a fun night that I could resist sharing!

Strawberry Shortcake

It was recently my bday... I won't tell you which one... BUT I will tell you that I had so many fun mini celebrations with great friends! One of my favorites was dining al fresco with my friend Sarah in her backyard. Sarah is an amazing cook and totally gluten-free, so it was healthy and delicious!

AND she made me an amazing, gluten-free strawberry shortcake (biscuit style) which I ate so much of that I got a stomach ache...

BUT the stomach ache didn't stop me from eating the leftovers for breakfast the next day...
