The Parker Palm Springs

I'm a little bit obsessed with The Parker hotel in Palm Spring. It's the perfect getaway! I love to go there during the week when it's quiet and just do nothing but read in a hammock and lay by the pool. The decor is by Jonathan Adler and it makes me want to redecorate my home. He had so much fun with color, as well as mixing and matching different shapes and silhouettes. I find it so inspiring! The hotel grounds are also very unique. There are a few low buildings connected by dirt pathways lined with lush greenery. It is such a magical place! I was just there and I can't wait until my next visit... I wish that I could live there!

In the meantime, I'm just going to stare at these images from my last visit and wish I was there right now ...

Vancouver: ERIN TEMPLETON

While I was in Vancouver I got a chance to visit a fantastic boutique called Erin Templeton.  Erin is actually the owner of the store and she makes her own line of gorgeous leather bags!  Most of the leather goods are made from recycled leather as well as local Canadian leather.  Erin also sells a well curated selection of vintage clothing as well as fun odds and ends.  Check it a few snapshots from her boutique...

Vancouver: EXPLORING THE CITY

I had a chance to go to Vancouver this week for a photography job which had me taking still shots for a music video (more on that once I have permission to release the images).  

But before work started I had some time to explore the city...

The streets are so clean and I found these cute little leaves etched into the sidewalk everywhere I went ....

... The store windows had gorgeous displays! Check out this flower shop widow display complete with blue bicycle ...

... Of course there were fashionistas like this girl.  How adorable is she?! ...

... I made my way over to Granville Island on a water taxi ...

... where I visited the Public Market which was full of fresh foods as well as crafts from local artists ...

... and I found the most delicious and juicy cherries I have ever had in my life! ...
