Bad Joan goes to Knit Culture Studio

It's starting to feel like Fall in Los Angeles so Bad Joan decided she needed some new knitting projects!  There is an adorable little knitting store right near the Badjoan.com office called Knit Culture Studio.  They have a variety of fabulous yarns and they also offer classes if you want to learn how to knit or even just improve your skills.  Plus, right now they have an amazing window display of the anatomically correct, knitted skeleton by artist Ben Cuevas!  You can see a picture of the skeleton below and for more info on this incredible piece click here.

Check out Bad Joan's latest trip to the knitting store...

When Bad Joan arrived at the knitting store she looked around at all the colorful yarn for inspiration ...

... she also looked through pattern books ...

... then she tried on readymade pieces to get some ideas; like this rosette and cable knit collar ...

... and this adorable chunky knit beanie ...

... eventually Bad Joan bought some yarn and hurried home to start on her new projects!  Check back soon to find out what Bad Joan ends up knitting this Fall/Winter!

What Bad Joan is wearing:
- Scarf - hand knit by Bad Joan
- Flow Sweater by Beautiful People (We've got the Flow Top by Beautiful People available right now on Badjoan.com, it's the same silhouette in a lighter material)
- Jeans - Gap
- Boots - Fornarina
- Rings - Vintage
- Bag - Tiffany & Co
- Eternal Coil Bracelet by Josefina de Alba - Retail $58 / Sale $27
- Roman Bracelet by Josefina de Alba - Retail $65 / Sale $30

What hobbies or projects are you working on this weekend?
