Bad Joan goes to Fonuts

As you've probably already guessed, Bad Joan has a major sweet tooth.  So naturally she was very excited when Fonuts opened up down the street from her office!  What's a Fonut you ask?  It's a baked donut.  Plus, they are made with fresh ingredients (like real fruit), they do not use any white flour, and many flavors are gluten free and vegan!  Bad Joan has tried almost every flavor and they are all delicious.  They even have creative flavors like Rosemary Olive Oil and Chorizo Cheddar.  Move over cupcakes, here come Fonuts!

When she arrived, Bad Joan got a chance to chat with the owners Nancy and Waylynn (her godfather was Waylon Jennings!).  These gorgeous ladies were old friends when they decided to go into business together.  Waylynn has been a pastry chef for years while Nancy is an avid baker on a personal level ...

... after chatting with these lovely ladies and hearing their story, Bad Joan's mouth was watering and she had to decide which flavor to order ...

... After some debate, Bad Joan decided on Lemon.  Then she hurried outside so she could sit down and enjoy her treat ...

... she savored every bite ...

... and when the fun was over she grabbed her bag and headed to work ...

The verdict: Bad Joan is nuts for Fonuts!
