Bad Joan goes to Swingers

June Gloom is in full effect here in LA and it sucks!  But it's nothing that a cute cardigan and a good meal can't fix!  Swingers is an LA staple and happens to be right down the street from the Bad Joan office. 

Swingers is a coffee shop in the bottom of an old motel.  They are open until 4am and offer a large and delicious menu.  The decor is Americana and the waitresses wear pleated mini skirts, fishnets and boots.  To give you an idea of the attitude their motto is "ass, cash, or grass, nobody eats for free."  If you're visiting LA this is definitely a fun place to people watch!  Bad Joan recommends the tuna salad sandwich on rye toast with a side of french fries.  Yum!
